first atempt at a HDR image

did a fast first atempt at a hdr image i used to much vinigareting on this one but im still on a learning curve let me know what you think or any tips on hdr images!

Pretty interesting image IMO. I find the bottom part the best, looks like the pew is sitting in a shallow pool. Congrats on the first HDR.

I think I would crop out the bottom. The floor is completly out of focus. The stained glass and the walls are wonderful.

WOW! I really liked the shot, then I scrolled down and saw what you did with the chairs! WOW! Very cool touch! This was a very creative and successful shot! The b&w is the perfect touch! My only very slight nitpick is that the vertical lines seem to be going ever so slighty to the left. This is my favorite shot I've seen in a while! Great exposure great composition!

ill have another go at this photo and remove the bluring and try and level out the photo so the lines dont point left... thanks for the kind words

I would actually keep the blurring, I think its a nice touch, though the blurring on the sides could stand to be a bit more tapered.

The look of the image is synonymous with the early days of photography.

Your shot has an Edward Steichen roughness written all over it ... and then tone mapped into today. Awesome.

What type of HDR is it and what program did you use? I use Photomatix.

Your shot is an excellent example of several of the techniques used for multiple exposure HDRs and if a single exposure (?) a pseudo HDR, it is even better ... but I'd work on the highlight saturation still. The stained glass could be extraordinary, detailed, close to being perfect. On Photomatix that would be 'increase highlight saturation' with the 'micro shader' set to 'low'.

Colour against a neutral background ... is a head turner.

i used photoshop to create the hdr image and used the tiffen plugin to edit it then over layed the origional to put the colour back into the glass. i used 3 difrent exposure settings to create the hdr using the ( dont know the correct name for it ) seting that takes 3 exposures of the same photo when using cont.. shooting thanks for the very kind words

I like the second version better the balance between the stained glass and the walls is better IMO. The "ghost" shot is cool and creepy, except for the flip flops giving it away.

The second version is great - the contrast makes it spooky! the ghost shot is great too - but I agree about the flip flops. Too bad she wasnt barefoot!

I kept coming back to your first edit because I like it but couldn't tell you why.
Now I like all the others and am totally confused and could not tell you which is best.
