    As I said elsewhere, I love this. The reflections in the glasses grab my attention and keep it. And I actually like that the hands were cropped out.

    Looks very much like a Skyshaper shot. Something about the processing.

    Agreed, nice shot. I also like the "watch your step" on the pole. But that leads to the "against doof". Maybe clone that out?

    I didn't really notice the hands at first. They are not an issue with me. Great subject and processing. Did you have to work on the shirt in post? I know I would have missed exposure on a shot like this for certain.

    Greg, selective curves and layers throughout as always - incuding the shirt with attention to showing the folds...

    Focus and exposure preset as this was shot from the lap. Shutter set to 1/60 to assure stop-motion which allowed the aperture to be around 4 when exposed for the floor.

    Thanks Tuna. I have been practicing hip shots and also pre-focusing or scale focusing and even though I hit focus most of the time it is hard for me to trust the scale on the lens. I guess I need to just go with it and practice. Your work is certainly inspiring.
