Fire and ash
A unique shot inside a burning house. We used this as a training fire today, it has been empty for 2 years. The home owner was convicted of arson after a long investigation and neighboring church purchased the the house. The church donated the house to the fire dept. to burn and use for training. Letting us burn it is a tax deduction or equity loss for the church and its cheaper to clean up. I'll post a few more after some PP.

Re: Fire and ash
Here is a shot of the house
It was hard to get a sharp shot of the house due to the heat distortion.

Re: Fire and ash
Both these shots are really fantastic in that these are images that most of us do not get to see. You also captured these photos well. although the picture of the burning house is not in sharp focus, I like that the tree in the fg is, and it worked out better this way, I feel.
I would have liked to see it from a little further back to have a bit more fg tree in the scene, but it's still very good.
The one inside is an incredible sight, although not sharp, the subject matter and moment makes the shot here. Well done.

Re: Fire and ash
I find it deliciously ironic that the former home of an arsonist was torched by the FD. :D
Nice work, Tyson.
