Don, you have such a unique way to your processing. Its interesting to see the places you take an image in your processing.

Sunk frog has a very strange washed out texture with what seems to be very reduced contrast. I think it ruins the detail.

Casting of bird has an unpleasant perspective that starts off with a big soft focus edge. I think a more perpendicular angle would look better.

In japanese maple, the hard edged hexagons at the oof highlights are caused by the f/3.5 opening. The softer creamier highlights are going to be best at 1.8 and 2.

I really like pink and green. Especially green, the texture looks outstanding, the reflection from the water on the leaf is classic, the drops of rain, the soft and vibrant broad area light, everything works very well. Excellent shot. I'd nitpick the softness of the two leaves on either edge of the frame, which could have been perfectly sharp at 2/3rd stop slower. Though, at iso 1600 and 1/25th of a second you are already pushing it (assuming this was handheld).

    Are those slugs?

I see a lot of noise, which may be intentional. For me, the noise/grain is the first thing I noticed, rather than the subject of the image.
