    Portraiture shots.......

    Okay, I am going to make a couple different posts since there are a couple different subjects, this one is people.......
    What do you think?

    1) I love the baby pic but don''t care for the background. And it seems kind of flat

    2) The second one is great but I don't care for the hazy look of it. I'd like to see her eyes better.

    3) My favorite is the black and white one. I wish I could see what she was doing or the expression on her face. It's a nice shot.

    I will agree with dbutler on many points here. The 1st shot is good for the expression on the childs face, but the lighting is unflattering and the colors seem dull. This one might look best in b&w.
    The 2nd shot is ok, and her expression and the moment is good, but the hazy effect covering her, as well as she almost being centered in the frame is hurting the image, but still not bad.
    The last one has great tonal qualities, but a better "moment" needed to be caught. As it is, it does not hold my interest or convey any particuliar feeling or mood.

    Thank you very much. I really appreciate your honesty and I will try to improve on certain aspects of shooting. I will most definitely be posting more.....Thanks!
