    I'm Back.

It has been ages since I posted in these forums. I have just returned from another stint in Laos and Cambodia. I have to get busy and sift through my images (100s) and post a few here..
This image was taken on the Ou River in far northern Laos. You can't get more remote than that. It is about 30klms from the Chinese border. A couple of kids were horsing around in the river as our boat aproached.

    Re: I'm Back.

The kid on the left would get fined for not wearing a bathing suit. Decent shot, but not super sharp, though good DOF. I think it would be much appreciated by the family etc cause they know the kids, though to the average viewer, we might be looking for something to spice it up. Maybe some color, say some red?

    Anyway, welcome back!

Thanx GB,,,,the first image is straight out of the camera except for a little cropping..

I have re-edited the image warming it up a tad and added a little USM..

Welcome back man. great action shot. Their skin texture and tone is very nice IMO. It looks like it's almost glazed with some shining agent. It's crazy one can almost see reflections on their bodies. bonus is it looks like these kids are having a great time!

Thanx Leels,,,good to be back..These kids were having a ball..It was about 32 degrees with about 80% humidity..Kinda strange they were sitting on the bank of the river when our boat approached..As soon as we got near they hammed it up for the camera,,there were about six of them..In this remote area of Laos the locals rarely see Westerners..
