    God in an Alcove

Title from the album _In the Flat Field_ by Bauhaus.

Formative Goth album from the early 80s.

I may or may not have listened to this "under the influence".

    Listen at your own risk.

    Re: God in an Alcove

So that's where god is. I've been looking for him/her.

It looks a little busy. I think I'm being asked to look at the figure as a viewer. but there is a whole lot of roccoco goin' on with the background and the scrollwork on the pedestal. The lighting creates some variation in the background left and right and it kinda focus on the hotspot neat the base of the figurine.

I guess I'm saying I'd like to see the god isolated or more of a harmonious set up of the whole enchillada.

Just my insomniac ramblings at 2:30 am on the east coast. Cheers.

Guess I figure I should have left the statue out then. I actually wanted you to look at the background.
