Fox on a Frosty Morning

So this morning I took these pictures of a fox crossing a frosty field. To be sure, they are not typical wildlfe photos, as the subject is far too small.

But they seem to capture a certain mood, so my question is this:

Do they truly evoke something, or are they merely interesting to me as they preserve the memory?
