Here is an interesting shot under a few coconut trees. what I don't like is the old oil drum what do you guys think?

The oil drum and the harsh shadows on the sand wreck it for me. Maybe try a time with minimal shadows or crop shadows out!

I love it including the Oil Drum. Appeals to my quirky sense of humour.

I think the harsh light helps this photo giving a different perspective of Paradise.

I do like the colours here and the fact that you have people missing helps the photo enormously.

It's a nice shot and the towel on the ground give the shot the focus it needs. I am going to stray slightly and suggest that the shadows of the palm tree branches could provide interesting subject matter, how about putting a few images together showing these shadows on different backgrounds? (The towl, the oil drum, smooth sand, rough sand...)
Just a thought, thanks for sharing!

I like it as is. The oil drum is part of the scene. If you have to set it up, it is worthless (at least in my opinion). Now i really miss Miami!
