    Good work Scott, this is distinctive. It really feels like some sort of toxic area with the saturated tridimensional smoke and the white sky. To me, it really looks like a place where you don't want to hang out, almost radioactive.

    I'd be curious to know what kind of post processing you went through to achieve this result.

    Strong image, and a good idea. I'm not sure if I would prefer it if the chimneys were vertical though - can't make up my mind on that.

    Hi Scott,
    The schot delivers a strong social statement. The minimal use of colour make it simple and the smoke is reinforced. Very good!

    There actually was not that much post process i just uped the contrast and adjusted the color balance slightly in favor of red (the photo was BW originally). The apearance of the smoke is because it was shot on a day that was almost a white-out, so the smoke stood out very well, esp. with the uped contrast since there is litterally no color in the sky
