    Logs

    SOOC, not enhanced yet.
Only shot in jpg on the LZ5 so not as much opportunity to edit.

    Re: Logs

I love the texture of weathered wood.
Why did you put the black hole in the middle of the frame?
    Look through a glass eye.
    Give it a few tries.
Nothing goes right in its time.

    Re: Logs

Because I wanted the logs to frame it.

    Re: Logs

    Nice textures in the logs.

Not sure if there is really something to act as a real "subject" though... unless you mean the black hole as your subject. Maybe if there were some bright purple flowers peeking out... or even a kitty, would add more colour and a definite place for the eye to rest.

To improve this shot, try contrast and colour boost. Sharpness looks great without any enhancing.

Not a bad shot---I like it overall! Might work as an Abstract.

    Re: Logs

It shouldn't be black, there ought to be the the texture of the logs at the front and some light coming in the back filtered through the overhanging trees.
I can probably recover a bit, this is SOOC so I can adjust a little, but jpeg so I can't do too much before the colours go all bleargh.
