    El Pollo Loco

    Hi Folks...
I saw this odd looking chicken cruising around the mission in San Juan Capistrano...It seemed really out of place and would not stand still for a proper picture....

You got great color, focus and DOF there but I think the images lack a little context that prevents them from being anything more than nice pix of a bird.

BTW nothing wrong with a nice pix......
    No, I DON'T need that.

I agree with MB and also the feet are chopped but you do what you can with subjects that won't pose properly for you.

    MB and Frog
Appreciate the comments..I know it is nothing more than a bird, but I find these shots good practice since I like to shoot sports and auto racing and my kids, LOL...I was also testing a new lens and camera this past weekend so I was not quite used to it...
Here is the same pic with no modificatons other than size...

    Re: El Pollo Loco

It's a really pretty shot. All the good colors are there, and it fits the time of the year too (looks yummy that is). His feet being cut off is probably a negative, but you got the most interesting parts of him. I do wish he was making a different type of expression to spice it up. But I guess he doesn't do comedy.

He doesn't look loco to me btw

Edit - I like the larger photo. I would crop out a little of the left so that he isn't centrally placed, and I think you'll have a winner.
