Wooah, did you shoot this under a black light..? Those purples are very vibrant! This lizard sure uses his camo well... could hardly see him at first. Unfortunately he was probably too quick for you, his head is partially obscured by the purple thing, making it more of a snapshot. But good try - timing's everything and takes practice (and wildlife photography is a world unto its own).

You nailed it..It was truly a snap shot..no thinking, just snapped away...The beauty of a snap shot is that sometimes you get a good one that can't be replicated..None the less I will keep trying..
