a edited pic and the original

Thats me in the pic, its not really a bum. I was wearing a helmet because I was riding my bike, then was trying to take a macro of a intresting bug i saw on the floor, and well a friend grabbed the camera out of my hand and took a quick shot. After, a poster on another site edited it because the tripod was in the background. (credit to .faramarz on accessphoto for his keen eye)

    What do you guys think?

Very cool. What program are you using. I really have to get into these editing programs i think you can really make some ordinary photos something spectacular.

I really like this. Very nice. What you need is a catchy title. Everything else looks good to me. I like the lighting - and the edited version is quite good.

Before you change it to black and white surrounding the colour image, I think it would be best to get the white balance correct first. The edited image, looks too Gold on the arm for me on my monitor (which is profiled).

The original is so so, especially after you revealed the truth behind it, but I find the edited pic to be very poignant. It is a piece of art so it doesn't really have to stand up to the same standard of the original photo. I see the original image as just a constituent element to the final product, and nothing more.

    Nice work.
