Hello Everybody
The main reason I'm posting this one is to hear your opinions on a suitable crop. I have tried lots of ideas myself but was not too happy with the results.
When I try to remove the building in the background (the more modern one) I end up loosing some curves of the old ones etc. i also am not too sure about the trees in the top Left. It's a bit like robbing Peter to pay Paul ;)
I cannot remember what would have happened had I tilted the camera down a bit or maybe I could have zoomed in a bit more.
Otherwise I am happy with the general composition and at 100% you can see another person in the room speaking to the man by the window.
Suggestions, comments and critique very welcome.

Just thought I would show how you can just about see the other person @ 100%.
Should have said it was colour converted to B/W mainly because the building were very grey anyway and the green trees did no favours.

Your second post looks like a nice crop to me!

As for the first image, maybe crop off the top third which would focus on the foreground house and roofs - a little less busy, IMO.

I agree. Image is too busy, and the second crop is nice!

I realize this crop looses the guy in the window ( hadn't noticed him in the small pic). I think the eye flows well through the frame here (kinda zig-zags), discovering lots of interesting detail along the way.

Thanks for your comments and work on this.
Well, I've been playing more with it as well and have come up with this re-working. Cheated a bit also by re-positioning the small window but I feel happy with the new result.
What do yo think everybody?
