Your shutter speed froze the gull pretty well. It's good that we can just see its face under the flapping wing, but it still is a little too close. Seeing the birds entire head would work better. This could use a crop from the left and the bottom just to get in a bit closer and bring the bird out of the center of the frame.
Love the mountain view in the distance.

Wow, the colors are soothing here.

Not a bad freeze of the bird. Keep shootin'. Eventually you will want to capture the birdie from a more interesting angle, say lower, that will frame him against the sky instead of the water and horizon. Not bad though.
