Last of the fishy ones

This will hardly surprise you but I DO!! I think the color and reflection are super. And the striation type lines formed through the water give it movement and almost a textural interest. My first reaction was to think that I wanted to see the whole reflection, but I'm not sure that 1) It wouldn't have been TOO much what with all the little fishies and the lines, etc. and 2) that something wouldn't have been lost since you would have had more water surrounding the little guy. Ultimately I get that he has real power.

I dont know Payne, I think its just as good as the others. With the graceful easy curve of the fish you've captured the form in a great way. The whole image builds from the green detail in the lower left to the bright upper right. At first I didn't like the reflection at all but after looking a while it works quite well. it adds weight, decentralizing the subject. also it tells me thats the surface and the fin is breaking it. the lighting and stripes/lines give a surreal quality. the two small fg fish and all of the other fish are a nice compliment to the surroundings. as a critique neg, i think that the light falloff in the LL corner is too abrupt. I had to find a nit somwhere!
There is alot more to take in in this photo than the other 2. they are great, but IMO this is better.

This to me is the best fish photo yet, You in the tank with the monster? looks like you could be so don't spoil the illusion :-o
