Ducks in Last Last Year's Straw

a very cool composition definitely but this looks to be another case of too heavy post processing. the edges of the ducks are very vague and soft too..... from a composition standpoint, SPOT ON! from a technical standpoint i dont like it though. do you have the original?

I had to give the edges of the ducks some definition by adding a thin shadow-like line and areas of blur. There is nothing I can do the colors of the scene wee too uniform.
