Duck Photo

Here's a shot of a duck I took at the Mystic Aquarium In Connecticut. Its cropped a bit..

Well, the angle is interesting - don't think I've ever seen a top shot of a duck. I like the closeness of your shot -- too bad your duck didn't help you out with a more interesting pose! This is an instance where an eye level shot may have worked better - which is a general rule to consider when shooting pets and children, I think.

I was at an Aquarium and it was in an enclosed pond. He was wading close to the rail. I tried to take a pic trough the rail but it wasn't gonna happen. that was the best I could do with its location

Ha ha .. fun shot here! I really like the angle and the duck, wish he was looking up at you but OK that he isn't. The only thing I think hurts the photo is the lack of a nice saturated blue color of the water. You may be able to do that in post processing though.

These ducks look kind of bland from a distance, but close up, they are really quite beautiful.

I did increase the saturation alittle with the camera. I have a tendency to over edit some stuff. I was trying to keep it at a minimum..
