Dry Falls?

I went taking pictures of some Illinois waterfalls - forgot to check if there was any water - :)

I would appreciate some comments / critique.

I quite like this. I like the composition with the ground forming the valley with the leading lines from the side. I also like the lighting in the trees and sky. I'm just wondering about the apparent perspective distortion with the trees leaning into the center of the shot, although it's not too bad.

Very nice, love the black and white. Maybe a little bit dark? That could be my screen though.

Starved Rock, right?

Go there in the spring, especially if it's been wet. Water is gushing. Fall, even after a good rain, is never more than a trickle. Best two waterfalls for finding water are St. Louis and LaSalle Canyon. If those two are dry, there's not going to be any running.
