Beautifully broken rules. Loving the centeredness, digging the black and white, great contrasts, perfect...rebellious composition.

Very interesting composition and i have no issues with the placements. I'm trying to visualise how this would work without the rocks on the left, leaving us with a great expanse of ocean, thus even increasing the solitude feel.
But what we have got here is interesting and very good and especially well seen.

Liban, I like the centering of everything here. I think this works. My only thoughts on improving might be a crop off the top just to eliminate the open tops. When I scroll down and crop in my browser it seems to clean the image up.But then again, i like it as is because it brings a greater feeling of expanse . . .could be something worth experimenting with. The white specks on the ocean are not necessary and would probably be best removing.

I agree with Frog..The only thing I see and I am really nit picking, but it seems like right in the center where the clouds are, it looks a little noisy to me or perhaps over sharpened..Like I said, this is really being picky, because as frog said, the initial look is great...Had the pic been posted up in any other forum than this one, I would have said the picture is pretty nice.

I agree with Gary on the spots in the ocean. I think I would like it better if you cropped about half of the boards at the bottom. But a great image and title.....

thanks. i try to stick to the rules as much as possible but sometimes it just doesn't work out.

Yeah, now in hindsight, i wonder what it woulda looked like had I repositioned myself a bit. but I was more indulged at that moment in framing her between the two posts and getting the walk board at the bottom in, etc. thanks.

That's a great suggestion. I should try it out and see. now that you mention that, the open spaces up top is starting to also bother me a bit. thanks.

Yeah, i might have over sharpened it a bit and plus I think the noise is coming from the way I converted it to B&W using channel mixing. The original is much cleaner. thanks.

Yes, the spots are distracting. I didn't even notice them before Gary mentioned them. The boar I like though because all the panels' lines are pointing towards the figure at the centre. Thanks man.
