    Cold Morning today...

With the temps in the mid 20's I took this this morning.

Yes, this looks frigid to me. I would consider cropping this down to an 8x10 size from the top , also eliminating the hole in the upper frame.
The subtle colors are soothing and definetly say winter to me.

    Re: Cold Morning today...

I can see why you took this and I agree with Gary about dropping a bit down from the top.

The colors seem a bit too cool and muted for me. I know it's cold and the light is flat. But it feels lifeless to me. It doesn't speak to me. I would try warming it up a bit (add a bit of red and yellow or change the white balance) and punching up the contrast and saturation. It's a tricky thing, making a photo feel right and look accurate. You don't want to go too far or it won't represent the cold temps anymore. But as it is, I am not feeling much from it.

Hope that helps. Thanks for sharing

Okay I cropped the top and added just a little more color I also put a touch of the shapen tool also. It does look a lot brighter.

Agree, second shot is a vast improvement! Retains the freezing feel with a punch of color to keep you interested, good work.
