    Inca Wall

Picture of an old incan wall in the Peruvian city of Cusco. Such a beautiful place. I thought the green plants on the tan/brown stone wall was really interesting.

Amazing how they fitted those stones together.
The problem here is that without the tittle, I might be looking down on a cobbled street.
I think it needs a top of wall or something that tells the viewer it is a wall.
    Just an opinion.
Exposure and focus all look fine to me.

Amazing that after you mentioned that, I can totally see it being an ambiguous scene. Thanks for the input. I am REALLY grateful for this forum!!!

Can only echo the comments already made, nicely exposed but we need something to put this into context, a remarkable sight

Ah, we loved our time in Cusco.

Thanks for the memory but this doesn't say anywhere in particular to me. OTOH it is an interesting (nicely ambiguous) composition and might work really well in a selection of images of Cusco.

I agree with Frog. Also, it seems to be soft/fading out on the sides and corners. This could be due to a large aperture or (hopefully not!) a poor quality lens. btw if the grass in the middle was a few flowers I think the shot would be a lot stronger, but it is what it is.

I understand the ambiguity the image poses here but i do not feel that knowing whether this is a wall or a street makes a difference. It has a great aesthetic value and the mysery of the subject can make it more interesting at that. I think I would crop off the soft focused areas on the top and bottom and trim a bit off the right and left side as well.
Up the levels a bit, add a little contrast and maybe saturate the colors some. I like it. . .simple and charming

I like it a lot! The fact that the upper and lower edges seem a little bit out of focus gives it a nice 3D feeling. I am actually not sure wheather these parts are out of focus or if the wall just isn't that perfect there. If you had not mentioned that it is a wall, I would have guessed it is paving. Or is it the top view of a very thick wall? I would also turn the levels up a bit.
