The trees in the water are amusing. I get that strange impression that they are actually characters swimming toward the mountains in the distance. I am not found of the tones in the sky but the picture still works for me because of it's content.

Not working so well for me this one Yoyo. On first sight I felt this one does not work with the vertical letterbox and I still feel this. Maybe it's because I feel the mountains are too central. Perhaps more foreground water and less sky would suit the format better. It's crying out for a more rectangular shape to facilitate more of this interesting scene.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan

The trees in the water are a bit disconcerting however have certainly seen this before. I would like to see more detail in the sky but still a nice photograph. Not bored at all with your series; some very nice work overall.

at first glance i liked this photo alot. but i think the main problem is the trees in the foreground and the island? - land in the back fight for your attention. if you were to lessen the amount of sky and add more water to the lower part, as others have said, i think it would have shifted more attention to the trees, and used the land as more of a background.

I think it's a nice view and set of subjects. I think this shot would look pretty nice printed out and framed with a medium to thick dark matte. GB

Hi Seb, You are right about the bland sky. I wish that it were more dramatic.

Hi Tom, Yes, a square format is better. Thanks for pointing that out.

Hi CF, The place is a wetland. The trees are mangroves which inhabit in seawater.

Hi GB, Thanks for the encouragement and the printing suggestion.

Hi Dylan, Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
