I like this series yoyo...it really speaks to me ;)
The photo has very nice lines and I like how you are moved along the path, tones are also good. I like how this photo the majority of people are facing away from the built enviroment (city) and seem to be seeking the dialogue of nature. A different feel than the last photo, not as strong emotionally or graphically...yet I feel a softer feel (peaceful) is more in line when looking at nature.
I hope you continue with this series.
Cheers.
I'm always mentally photographing everything as practice.

Very different from the first Dialogue, but another interesting conversation! This one is almost more of a murmur or something over heard rather than the powerful one on one 'talk' of the first.
Yoyo - Well, I like what I do see, but I am left with the want of knowing the rest of the photo. It's too clipped off that is. Someone once told me that a picture that tells a story is really nice: this one gives clues, but you're left guessing.. not so much a mystery as just too little information. Sorry, but that's just the way it leaves me. The black and white is nice.

First of all Yoyo congratulations on being brave for presenting this in the vertical letter box style. I see lots more dialogue in this one, but dialogue of a different kind. It looks like a very nice riverside walk with a glimpse of the restaurant and other buildings.
My eye is taken on a nice walk from the bottom to the very top and the woman in thought at the foot of the photograph is really well positioned.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan
Hi GB, Thanks for sharing your perspective of photo-story relationship. I agree with it. Regarding the shot, what parts do you think are needed to complete the story?
Hi Tom, Thanks for the analysis. I am attaching this photo for you.

Yoyo - I guess not knowing what's on the sides of the people on the trail is it. Is the area built up, is it just a single group of buildings, etc? Perhaps another thing that is slightly disturbing is that the image feels like it's getting ready to 'fall down' or something. Not trying to No-Go any vertical format-type shots here - it just seems like that in this one, and I am not sure why. Perhaps the slightly twisting trail ?
Like Overbeyond said though, congrats on taking the chance here (!!!!)

Yoyo, I find your extreme crop to be brilliant. That's one of the most clever thing I have seen here in a while. Your composition just works for me. I like the curve and how it leads my eyes up and down. Beside, the tones are great.
Hi Seb,
Thanks for the kind words. By the way, the shot was taken with an XPan.
yoyo
This is a fine piece of engineering. I really considered that Hasselblad at some point but I doubt I'll ever get one considering that it isn't exactly cheap and I am highly involved in the digital workflow nowaday. Anyway, I believe that you took advantage of the XPan particularities in a very good way here.
Hi Seb,
It seems thta the XPan is out of production because of the recent tighter law of using lead in electronic goods in Europe. Hasselblad or Fuji will not alter the existing production line as it is not cost effective.
