    Desert sunset
    Just a slightly different spin on the traditional sunset - the "obstructed view" angle.

    Anza-Borrego desert, California.

    I'm really mixed about it. I like the low angle for the shot, and the depth of field to capture the plantlife on the left side, with the sun right behind it. However, I think there is a touch too much in the rest of the frame that to me seems a tad confusing. A touch less of that, and I think it would really stand out.

    Very well said, and I agree fully. The middleground (the stuff between the sunset and the foreground weeds) is overwhelming and too much.

    Yes, it is pretty busy. Almost annoying I must admit :) I feel like reaching out and swatting those bushes to the left.

    Oh well, back to the fields and deserts with camera in hand...
