    Dead space aplenty
A frequently ambiguous line lies between enough and too much. Wondering thoughts on the use of dead space, particularly in this image.

    critique appreciated.

The first shot does it for me, the area above the turbines seems enhance the vastness ( hope thats the right word to use...:) ) of the terrain. The blade flex tells me that a good breeze must have been blowing but blades look stationary I suppose that light conditions and low speed made a bit of blade blur out of the question

I'm amazed by these things. I love seeing them. We don't really have any around where I live. I love the shots, the first is my fav. Though, I would've loved a shot of the front of one up close. Either way, great job! :)

Maybe you could crop some off of the top of the first one. Just a thought. I also think a human element, someone walking the road would have helped. I also like the fact I can see the road on the first one. Maybe you could have shot looking down the road and lead the viewers into the shot. Wonder how much those farmers get for a bail of wind?LOL

I agree with Pete in that the first one does work for me well. i like the open feel of the "neg" space and also the colors in this. Having a bit more foreground seems to add as well especially with the various horizontal layers of colors and lines. Its good

Thanks for the input guys. Made some adjustments to comp, fit to 2:3, adjusted the hue to make for a different shade of blue. Is this an improvement?

No, i think the blue is too violet and the green grass is getting very close to being gray. The original hue was better. i liked the photo very much exactly as the original is.
