I definitely like the b&w version better...and I think this is a really good shot. I think it would be even better if when you snapped it you had stepped about 3 steps back and 1 step to the left. :) I would have liked to see a tiny bit more of the street.

However, I like the rather eerie feel to this, with the fog. :)

    Definitely the B&W version.

I love how there's no end in sight when the sign suggests other wise. I think you got your self a winner here ;) Though I agree with jusolph about stepping away a bit.

    Excellent shot X.

Yea that stepping back would be hard to do cuz the sign is really high. I had to stand on a rock about two feet high to get that angle. Maybe if I bring a tiny stepladder cuz its only down the street from my house.

    Thanks guys

I really like this shot in B&W. You've captured that desolate mood quite well. I do, however, find the electrical lines distracting. They seem to interfere with the vertical symmetry that dominates the rest of the shot. That white van (?) is a little distracting too.

Here we go i tried it again but it was pretty dark out.
400 ISO with a P&S is not good.
I tried stepping back and to the side a little.
