This is kind of interesting to look at. I don't know what to make of it, but I like looking at it. The blue swatches perhaps...
What was the post processing on this shot?
Indeed interesting post processing but the image needs some reference to make it work as a composition. A frame or another element in the photo is needed to tie it all together.
Secondly it is too 'flat'. It has shape and color but no significant line or shadow remaining.
Not meaning to be harsh but am meaning to offer a couple of suggestions as to what might make stand out (no pun intended) more.
Slighly less of the embossing or a different parameter (angle for instance) might restore the shadows and depth. The bench (background) has lost to much detail and texture.
Thanks guys. I layered an embossed layer under a highly saturated but partly transparent color layer then inceased contrast and brightness. Others have suggested a frame. I think it's a good idea.
