    Dead Bunny.

No joke. He didnt make it.

But seriously, what do you think of this picture? (as morbid as it may be)

I don't want it, I just need it...to breath ...to feel ...to know I'm alive.

There's a distinct yuck factor here. You know but with that fly so sharply photographed, this is quite a shot.

This shot is excellent. The fly is just the star of the show.

Well, I can't say as I'm totally in love with the subject matter, but the fly is in good focus.

    Re: Dead Bunny.

I wouldn't know it was a dead bunny without the tittle so I think a better angle is called for.
Great job on freezing the fly.
As for subject matter, not all of life is pretty and death is part of it. I've shot dead salmon in the past.

    Re: Dead Bunny.

I agree with frog about not able to identify the bunny without the title. The fly is the star of the shot and should get top billing over the bunny. Not a crowd pleaser but who says it has to be. But then I liked Rocket Scientist "The awful truth about sunflowers". So maybe I need therapy or something.

Friends,,,rabbits along with foxes, cats and carp are an introduced species to Australia which play havoc on the ecology..IMHO a good wabbit is a dead wabbit!! Read into what you may for the other species.

The fly makes the shot. People don't like to look at dead rabbits, but it's amazing that you caught that fly in motion like that.

    Re: Dead Bunny.

thanks for all of you who commented. lol. Im happy with the general response. I thought people would be too disgusted with the morbidness (morbidity?) of the shot. Thanks.

    Re: Dead Bunny.

Yeah Greg...All attempts have been made to cull the rabbit problem in Australia but at times we are losing the battle..

Fake bunnies are used at the races here also...This image was taken during a "blooding" session for young greyhounds..

    Re: Dead Bunny.

Poor fella.. I've had several pet rabbits. They die easily. I guess that's why they reproduce some quickly.

The shot is good and I esp like the black border, which is fitting.
