    Day at the Zoo

Spent a day with my daughter at the zoo and had to take some shots.

Thanks Mike, No, all of these were taken while looking over the railing. It was an overcast day with slight rain. All were taken with my 300 f/2.8L lens. It's a new lens for my sport shooting and I wanted to see what I can get if I took it to the zoo. I was very pleased with the results.

Jim, indeed those are some great shots. I especially like the hippo and the Lion although I'd clone out the orange chunks from the lion's mane. It looks like he was eating cheetos or something.

    Wow..

I also feel that there is nothing I can point out to make them better.

    Excellent shots, period.

Did you do a lot of PP? Them seem so perfect!

Thanks everyone, all of these have a slight curves adjustment in PS and then coppred. As final touch they were sharpened a bit and ran through noiseware, which I do as an action with the frame effect.

    Re: Day at the Zoo

Outstanding zoo images. Love the nice tight crops. Only problem I would have had is a day at the zoo lugging around a 300mm f2.8. The 70-200 f2.8 is about all I want to carry around all day as I trek through the zoo.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??
