    Thanksgiving at Zion

Arrived in Zion National Park on Thursday afternoon..

Shot from the car. 1/20th @ f/5.6 hand held, ISO 400. It's a tad blurry, but I think I can live with it. What do you think? Keep it or ditch it?

    Re: Thanksgiving at Zion

Canuck - I like the composition and the rustic colors. The way the mountain is fogged in adds to the shot where it just wouldn't be the same if it were clear. It is a tad soft .. I assume you already tried sharpening it up as far as it would go. I do wish there was more space at the bottom, for the Zion brick structure almost seems like it's mounted to the bottom of the frame. I say keep, at least as a decent shot of your visit.

    Re: Thanksgiving at Zion

    Hi GB,

Thanks for the critique. I did sharpen it a little, but I'm always paranoid about over sharpening so I can be a bit conservative. Once I get home I'll see if adding a bit more will help. I didn't notice I had cropped all the way up to the bottom of the structure. I think there was a bit more there before I cropped. Again I'll have to see about it when I get home. Thanks again!
