Okay, first one is my youngest, this is what she looks like. Tried to make sure the background wasn't to busy, wasn't cutting anything off (except the head) catchlights, so on.

The second is Bailey, this is just who she is. So her personality, kind of like her trademark expression (which is scary). She making her silly face. I see this face at least a dozen times a day.

If someone shot these for me, and I was ordering reprints, I'd completely pass the first, and get lots of the second.

Nice shots - especially the sparkling eyes, which is essential.
