In saw this opportunity at a local hotel. I was attracted to the repetition, the lines and curves. In worked with colors for a pleasing quality.

Arne, I really think for a shot like this to work that it has to be perfectly aligned and angled. A geometric is all about lines and shape; the shapes are fine, but I think the way the gaps increase between the curvy parts on the right side and the area behind it, as the eyes move up the image, are a problem. It it probably just normal vanishing point perspective in that you probably took it from below, but you can fix it in PS. (An ideal solution would be to own a view camera. Not many photogs do.)

Otherwise, it is a worthy subject but I am not sure on the lighting and resulting color; seems to be a bit flat? It is also soft on my monitor, and I think such a shot should be razor sharp since you had unlimited time to compose and set up (on tripod). Maybe you can sharpen it up a bit in post..
