Nice shots with interesting perspective, composition and good detail. The stark cloudless sky works well to contrast with the sharp patterns of the building in the first one. I also like the tint in the last one - an industrial look.

    Dear Herriot,

I like the first one. The pattern of triangles and the sawtooth pattern of the building play well with the palm trees. Very neat. Was the second one shot with a wide angle? It looks a lot like you did. What camera, film, lens, etc?

Thanks for your feedback! The wide angle lens I used was the Canon EF 17 - 40 mm F4.0 L lens together with EOS ELAN 30, film was a standard Fuji ISO 200 film. Another image is attached below with the same setup (on the same day!).

    Dear Herriot,

This picture again has the nice pattern of triangles, but has a few extraneous items. I would get closer next time. Crop with your lens. It makes for a nicer composition. I know it might be hard with such a wide lens, but you have a good eye though. Keep up the good work.

Love your first one! That harsh contrast of blue sky and those triangles is great! Very nice eye. Love the color you have going in the last one, very neat!

Nice shooting and congrats on the job in Singapore!

Thanks for your comments Drew, Jared, will be revisiting this building once I get out there, I think with better light there could be some really interesting possibilities, thanks again!

    Herriot,

I bet. With a subject like that, the possibilities are probably endless!
