VERY nice, i love the color and the wonderful expression on her face. she has good looking skin and you got the exposure just perfect. one thing though, is the dancer directly behind her, the way her chin kind of pops out of the subjects chin. other than that, i think this is a great picture.

The colours, clarity and exposure are all fantastic!

How did you manage to get so close to them. Or did you zoom right in?

I took some pictures yesterday of my daughter Belly Dancing and they are awful in comparison. I couldn't get very close to her because I was stepping through people all over the ground just to get some shots of her. Maybe I should have zoomed in more and not got her whole body in.
Oh well, ya live and learn don't ya?

Thank you so much Alison. Since the event was outdoors and didn't feel to restrictive, I just got in front of the crowd and sat on the grass not to block anyone's view. I have a lot of shots but I only liked about 5, so yes, you live and learn. I zoomed in close but would chop off alot of hands then I would do full body but ended up seeing ugly backgrounds like police cars. So the only nice photos are those where the crop is tight with minimal clutter in the background AND I don't cut off a limb.

Eric,,one of your best posts to date....Love the colours,,the girl's expression and it is sharp in the right places..But above all,,it has impact..It appears it was shot in full sun and shade but you handled the contrast well...Personally I would have processed this image a tad darker..S.E.Asians have darker skin tones..
I agree with Mark,,the chin of the next dancer is a bit distracting..

I wish I was more aggressive with shooting multiple frames that afternoon. Maybe I would've got a shot without the chin issue. I don't know why I was being conservative with shots. I'll also review my shots again to see if there is better one that is similar.
