    Neat picture! I do find the dark object in the bottom right corner to be distracting though...

    Thanks its of a light. Each thing has an individual light coming off the end of it.

    Nicely captured, composition, DOF, and lighting except the black thing at the bottom right, perhaps 'War of the Worlds' would be a more apt title!

    I like it X. Though I'm a bit wary of the perspective. I wish the nuts/bolts at the bottom of the cylinder weren't there. Maybe if you shot it directly from above the cylinder would just be a circle that the tentacles are coming out from. I hope you get what I'm saying. or even if you found a way to cover that with the tentacles I think this shot be that much better.
