Collaboration with My Mrs. - AZ Part Two

My spouse shot this in AZ with a Nikon D50 and 17-35mm f/2.8. I did some cropping and photoshop. Please share your comments and suggestions.

Did we forget to do the final USM on the image. The rocks have no clear definition to them, they looked soft/blurred. Look at it with usm set to 100%, 0.3 and 1 just to see the difference.

Also what is the formation saying in the shot, there is no real perspective to me to say "Heck that is a high rock face".

Blue sky looks good.
