In the field just behind me, the Olywest Consortium is about to build a giant pig slaughter and packing house. The community a mile and half away (where I live) is all up in arms about it. This is the fence which surrounds the CN Rail yard--the largest train repair depot in Western canada.

I really dig the BW image. I love how the tone is rich and the image is still punchy. I also really like the perspective of the fence and how it parallels the highway and the light standards. With an image of this style, the only thing I would do (not to say it would be cool with you) is a solid black boarder around it. Attractive image!

I like the black and white because it's easier to see the barb wire. I agree that the parallel is very cool.
