    Hmm...I think you may want to go even closer for this one. It seems to me the foreground leaf and the water drops are the focal point of this image. However, I think they could be better positioned in the final image. The background would have been better if it's out-of-focus more.

    AgingEyes thnx for the comment, again its because of point and shoot camera, i have tried by going even closer, but than every thing goes out of focus.

    Nitin, your focus on the lower leaf is pretty good and shows nice detail in the veins of the leaf and the droplets, but it gets soft above, which could be improved if your P&S has a manual mode where you can set the F-stop to a smaller aperture. The background is distracting, not sure what I am seeing back there, but looks like a couple windows. When doing close up shots like this, especially in a B/W shot, it is pretty easy to set up a dark background with some dark fabric, or even a black coat, then all the viewer's attention is on the subject.

    There's always a limit to how close you can get regardless of what camera and lens. But, is that a digital compact point-&-shoot? If so, did you use its macro mode or text mode?
