Taken from a roof top. Is the Is the big dark area created by the tree too much? does it distract a lot here? All feed appreciated.

I think the tree is fine. If anything I think it could be a little wider at the bottom to include all of the car. All in all another great night shot.

A great effort here and there is a lot to look at. would like to have the tops of all the skyscrapers visible and also the bottom as has been already pointed out.

    Thought it was San Diego.

It is a tad disappointing that the foreground doesn't match the spectacular background. Not sure what you can do about it, other than keep looking for another vantage point.

Still a very nice and well-executed shot.

If you did not point that out, I would not have even seen it :)

I was thinking the same thing, but I think a 1/2 pan shot could isolate the top half and make a really cool shot. Where to draw that line looks a bit tricky though.

Thanks for all the great feed back. I'll go back and reshoot the sky scrappers a bit closer. I was looking for a wide angle this time and this is the widest lense I had. Also the Camera was on a roof top railing and I couldn't see the composition that well and was afraid for the camera to fall 15 stories down! I'm going to europe in a couple of weeks, I can't afford to damage my baby now!

    Welcome back Greg!!

    Thanks again
