Citrus Blossoms

I was out playing around with a 100mm f/2 lens yesterday afternoon and took this shot. I sort of liked it and was wondering what others though about it.

Camera: Canon Digital Rebel
Lens: EF 100mm f/2
A = f/4
S = 1/1000 sec

I was actually trying to shoot pictures of flying bees at the time so I was in sports mode that takes away all control of the aperture, shutter speed and ISO but it is the only way I know to lock Ai-Servo focus on the Rebel.

I might zoom in a bit more to achieve a larger flower bloom and tighter crop, but otherwise I like it.

To me, this shot has a soft, dreamy look to it. It's very pleasant. I think I'd prefer a bit more dof, and that the petals were more in focus. But that would give it a different feeling, so it's up to you.
