Every week i have an assignment and i tell him what to shoot. This weeks assignment was just take black and white shoots of a shallow and deep depth of field. Christian didnt take a deep but i did, so here we go....

Re: Christian vs Bobby
I really like the 2nd. but watch out for the noise. On the first you really see it on the last buildings. what are you shooting with? Also watch you cropping , your leaning a little to the left on the first. second is spot on 3rdto the right and rest is not need. good rule of thirds also
as for the last two there is too much contrast on the first and not enough on the last. This is a tricky thing to do . If you can get the adobe program lightroom. You will be amazed how this program helps.
Thanks for sharing you guys are doing a great job

Re: Christian vs Bobby
ahh...a fellow Chicagoan....I always thought those alley rat signs would make for a good prop. I really really love the 4th shot of the water drops....I assume by the scratches that is through the window of either a bus or the El? gotta love the CTA
