On the river, back to the sunrise.

The colors at sunrise can be fantastic if you remember to turn you back to the sun. With the light bouncing of the calm water the colors are even more intense.

Love those soft colors.....the same thing happens at sunset. Sometimes its a good idea to turn around and see what's happening.

both are beautiful. love the softness of it also. i think i might prefer this one because of the position of the person half in. the other one i could see some of the right but not as much as i needed. This one doesn't let me even beg for any kind of 'more please' on the right. it's perfectly shot. well done.

    Hmm.

Great colors, time of day, and very interesting composition. It sort of reminds me of a Chinese scene with someone paddling down the Yangtze river (if I'm spelling that correctly). My only complaint is that the oar seems soft and/or is not quite at the ideal spot in the scene. Nice work
