Re: The Chief is dead...
The sun flares are bothersome but nice angle.

Re: The Chief is dead...
Really? I purposely included them in the pic, something like a heavenly touch to tell the the tale of the sad news...Thats why I worked the pic to include the whole sky above with those nice cloud formations. The sepia is meant to create a thoughtful/mournful atmosphere.
Thanks for the comments BTW!

Re: The Chief is dead...
My problem with the flare is that the bottom left corner of the bumper blends right into the flaring sky.
Very nice though. The sepia works really well.

Re: The Chief is dead...
I like this picture. Very dramatic angle, and the sepia tone is interesting....an old-fashioned tone, a new car, but pontiac, a traditional car brand. I like the contrast in different concepts depicted here.
The light flare over on the left....well, in my opinion, (which, I would never say was perfect!) in my opinion there are technically perfect pictures...shots that have the perfect exposure equations, just the right amount of lighting, they obey the law of 3rd's to the letter....
But... some of the best, prettiest, most artistic shots sometimes break the rules! I think this is one of those cases...I think the flare, while technically it may be a problem, I think adds to the artistic effect, and makes a more emotional image.
Oh...and I have always loved pontiacs!!!! my first car was an 89 LeMans...gosh it was an ugly car!!!

I thind the composition would work better if the whole pic was moved up and to the right??

Re: The Chief is dead...
I love the angle of view and the sepia color. The flare is a little too much.
