I wonder if there is not to much space between the centre and outside glasses, did you try a slightly different angle ?

I like the first glass the best with the shadow, just that alone makes the shot for me. With a bit more managed light on white paper you could be on to something here.

The light looks pretty cool.
I like the idea of a different angle (both axis) and why not try a less crowded composition to get a narrower frame.
