    Shooting through the wires is a pretty touchy technique, but it can be done. If life at the zoo is what you were trying to show then I think you did well. But if you want photos of exotic animals at the zoo then eliminating the cage/wires is essential. First trick is, make sure the sun is not shining on the wires/cage AT ALL, then select a pretty narrow f stop.

    Thanks Flyer. I think eliminating fences would be hard in this case.
