    Casper

I went to downtown denver and got this shot. i call it Casper because the swirling pools of water and the lip from the bouncing water on the river kind of resemble Casper the friendly Ghost. at least thats what i see. what do you see?
I put the tempurature as low as it goes and then did some minor level adjustments.

I don't see Casper, but I really like the reflections in the water. It almost looks like ice. I think you might could have shown a little more sky and a little less at the bottom, also I think a slight crop on the right to get rid of the strange relection would work. But these are minor issues and I like the star effect with the lights. Nice picture again! What F/stop do you use?

    Re: Casper

I'm a sucker for night photography. Here I really like the rich deep blue of the sky, the bridge and the lights came out fine as well. The shot looks distorted and it definitely has a tilt that bothers me. I also would've liked it better if the the focus was more on the bridge and the sky rather than including all those dark areas below which take away from the bridge IMO.

Nice on the tint adjustment, it has the cold night feeling to it, but the fact that the bridge is not level just gets on my nerves. I'm fine with the fisheye, but I'd like it if the tilt wasn't there also.

Thanks. i was really trying to get the two whirpoolish areas as the main center of attention. i wasnt expecting much out of the sky, cuz it was pretty late. I shot this at f22 for 30 sec.

I am a true newbie, but I like this shot best cropped narrow. Cropped from the bottom all the way to where the rock bank on both sides meets the edge. Thats how I viewed it in my browser. As for the tilt I LIKE it why does everything have to be level. Very interesting shot looking forward to seeing more.
