    Severely crooked architecture shot

    I took this picture just for reference of what a building looks like because I plan on putting it in my CS Source Map, but this showed up in my screensaver and something about it full screen struck me. I Would post a larger one, but my FTP Server is acting up.

    I'll probably play around with it at different times of day and see what I can come up with.

    This makes our brain treat the various items as more abstract shapes and blocks instead of automatically recognizing them and then ignoring them. The subtle yellow of the building works well with that great blue sky.

    Looks to me like what cinematographers refer to as a "Dutch Tilt" this tecnique is often used by moviemakers to fit taller buildings into their equipment. It would however need to be oriented in portrait.. like so:
