Hi Leels .. yes it is just a little too big for my screen, especially in the vertical direction. Not a lot though. I note that you had 940 pixels on the long side - I usually use 640 or 600 and find that's ok.

About the image - you have the colours nailed pretty well I think, and you have kept detail the shadowy areas. So, in terms of exposure, you have done a pretty solid job there. Nice leading lines too with the little spots. My one problem is that the image seems tilted. I checked the bridge in the distance and I think the canal IS level, but the tilt of the buildings make it look a little like it isn't.

As you don't mind people playing with your images, I simply used Skew to pull up the building on the left until the interesting geometric shape on the top was level. That is all I did. What do you think?

    Cheers

Very nice. I like exposures taken at this time of day. I like the way the canal winds it way towards the tower in the distance. On the negative side I'm not sure of the "Bike shed" on the left of the shot.

    Otherwise, I love it!

Hey Mike thanks man. The distortion is because of the wide angle I was using. I should've done some lens correction before uploading. Yeah,i see what you did to the top angle. I think it's definitely an improvement. thanks.

    hey dave,
what's a bike shed? or where is it? lol. do u mean like the fence thingy? thanks btw.

Love the color and the leading lines along the path on the right. The wide angle lens is definitely doing some funky things to the building on the left, though the right and center look great. I think Dave is referring to the yellow box (shipping container?) between the stairs and first column on the left side when he says bike shed.

Thanks Jetrim. Yes, I will lens correct the left side of this photo to get things straighter.

Dave, yeah, no clue what that is. I didn't even notice it at all, even after you said look at the left side. oh no worries, pricky is good. lol.

I like it. I did happen to notice a little distortion from a wide angle lens but to me wasn't that bad.
Also looks like there might be a little ghosting of a person standing just above center and to the right, other words top row of lights on sidewalk half way into the curve.

    Liban,

That is one of the best night shots I have seen in a long time. Stunning colours, details and the people on the bank complete the picture.

    Nice exposure and excellent composition

Both the original and Mike's edit are awesome. Did you use a tripod for this?
